In a past days Sony has pushed the Android 4.3 JellyBean update to its Xperia lineup and  we have posted earlier that the Sony rumored to be testing the Android 4.4 KitKat on the Xperia Z1 and the Xperia Z Ultra but now we have good news for the owners of the Sony Xperia Z1 as our sources told us that the Japanese manufacturer is very near to launch the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Sony Xperia Z1.

According to the sources, the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Xperia Z1 will also bring many changes to the system of the Xperia Z1, the change in the UI (user interface), more improved camera, improved battery STAMINA mode along with a performance booster.

As sources said, the Sony Xperia Z1 will receive an Android 4.4 KitKat update in the first week of February 2014, it means that we have to wait for just 20 days but keep in mind that this information is not linked to any official source, so don't take it too seriously.
